San Luis Obispo's airport is located 10 minutes from the Madonna Inn and downtown. There are some direct flights from hubs, but most flights have a layover in LA or SF.
For those wanting a bit more adventure, the drive from both San Francisco (SFO) & Los Angeles (LAX) is about 3 1/2 hours.
