Can I bring my children?
We love you and we love your kids but we will be having a child-free wedding!
Can I bring a plus one?
Plus-ones are noted on your invitation. If your invite includes a guest, we'd love to have them! Unfortunately, due to venue capacity, we're unable to accommodate additional guests beyond what's listed.
What's the dress code?
Cocktail attire with a twist: we want you to have fun with it! The Madonna Inn is famously colorful, kitschy, and over the top, and we'd love for our guests to lean in. Wear the bold print, the bright suit, the dramatic sleeves, the sequins. Traditional wedding guest attire is welcome too, but if you've ever wanted an excuse to be a statement piece, consider this your invitation.

What's the bar situation?
We're thankful you are making the trek out to us--open bar!
Will there be a shuttle from other hotels?
We won't have shuttles running from overflow hotels, so we recommend planning ahead for transportation — whether that's carpooling with other guests or arranging a rideshare.
Are there room blocks?
We have ten rooms set aside at the Madonna Inn. These are the cheapest priced rooms available. That being said, you do not have to book those rooms. You can book any room, all of which are themed and very campy, and tell them that you are with the Nelms - Yagle Wedding. Hotels are expected to book quickly so book early!
What if I have a dietary restriction?
We will be providing a vegetarian and gluten-free option! There will also be sides that are vegetarian as well as gluten-free.

What's the weather like in SLO in January?
The days are usually in the 60˚s and breezy, the nights can dip into the low 50˚s.
Is the wedding indoors?
Yes! Both the ceremony and the reception will be inside.
Where do I park?
The Madonna Inn has ample parking spots and will not be an issue.
When should I arrive at the venue day of?
To ensure enough time to park, navigate to the ballroom and find a spot, we advise arriving at the venue 15-30 minutes prior.
